Welcome to the dr.bodi fam!

We are so excited to share with you our natural skincare products made by us for you savvy, beautiful humans.

I want to give you a brief rundown as to why and how dr.bodi came about first. 

Our lives are insanely busy and skincare routines are just getting more complicated and, let’s face it, WAY more expensive!

So with less time in our day and multiple steps in our “beauty routines” - I am definitely forgetting what goes on in which order! WHO ELSE?

A few years ago, I became obsessed with buying big-ticketed products and spent hundreds of dollars on tiny bottles that lasted me a month if I was lucky (how was I supposed to know exactly how much to apply?!). Sometimes, I didn’t even finish products because they didn’t really work the way I thought they would… OR I needed to use them for years to see some type of difference.

What a waste! I could have used that money for a house deposit (Millenial & Gen Z Problems… am I right??).

It was a struggle deciding which brands of moisturiser to buy and whether or not I could use it on my face and/or ashy elbows. I NEEDED HELP! 

Years later, my husband and I decided we needed something natural and simple.
ENTER BODI BARISTA! 

We call it the super product because it will exfoliate AND moisturise.

To top it off, my mother-in-law loves it too and that’s saying something. 

Coffee grounds and coconut oil are the power duo here. We started using the scrub on our body; arms, legs, back, stomach and chest. 

My MIL decided to try it out on her face and LOVED it, so we did the same. 

Obviously being more gentle on your face and really working it in, the coffee removes all that dead skin and removes black/white heads - then the coconut oil does its thang and adds a protective layer of moisture back to the skin. 

The name dr.bodi came about after we started brainstorming product ideas. Neither of us are doctors but enjoy learning and educating on all things remedial (because we have so many problems of our own). Our brand is based on simplicity - basic ingredients. We like the saying “less is more”. With minimal and natural ingredients doing the most for your skin, how could you go wrong? 

Get the scent you like the most and try it out - leave it in the shower for you and anyone you live with to use.
